    just saw this on youtube..

wow.. the 430 rims look fantastic on the 348..!!

    what a difference it makes..

and these should be a direct swap with no machining to the rear rims..

I do agree they look great. There is a red 348 for sale in the Netherlands that has grey 430 wheels on it. I think it looks awesome. ERclassics.nl.

looks good... but the dark grey doesn't look as nice..

the stance on the youtube car.. is obviously lowered.. and could look like some spacers on there..

also if you look closely.. it has Big brake kit.. very nice.

makes me want to pick up a 348 and put 430 rims on it lol..

I don't think they are direct swap though...

if I recall 360 rims are direct swap to 348.
so the 430 rims would be too.

I believe due to the high offset of 355 rear rims

requires spacers in the rear when fitted to 348.

360, 430 have lower rear offset and are interchangeable between 348, 360, 430.

that's why those who have fitted 430 rims to 355 required to shave the hub of rear rims, to pull the rim back in.

one of the guys here put CS 19s on his 348 and I beleive it was direct swap.

Rear 360 wheels need 12mm or 17mm shaved off to look correct and still use off the shelf wheel bolts.

You mean for the 355 right? I have unmodified 360 modular wheels on my 348 and they look fine.

This. OZ offsets on the Superleggera III 1 inch lip, Ferrari spec are golden but require early, short 55mm bolts on a late 348. Critical dimension which is better than stock, is the rim lines up exactly with the top of the wheel arch as the fender tucks in to the rear. It is not possible to place the wheel any wider without throwing more debris and spray and looking like they are too large. They fit on 360s with 22mm spacers rear, 11mm spacers front. I will be rolling my front fender lips this spring. Even stock snags. AFAIK, my car is not lowered.

I also have 360 starfish wheels on my 348 and it was a direct swap. I have a set of 430 wheels waiting to go on and I was also told they are a direct swap too.

The 360 wheels sit out too far in my opinion in the rear and require some of the wheel to be shaved down. I have pictures somewhere of the rear wheels on my 348 before shaving and the car looks like a jacked up 70's Camaro in my opinion. Even the car in the video above shows that the wheels sit out a little too far in the rear.

I choose 17mm to be shaved off and the wheels sit perfect and I was able to use 35mm wheel bolts since the stock 360 wheels use 52mm bolts.

Those do look pretty good. I actually like them better than the 360 starfish wheels. I'm surprised the 430 has the same bolt pattern as the 348.

As with most cars that get fitted with wheels two sizes bigger than they were originally designed to have fitted, the standard brake discs end up looking like milk bottle tops.

I agree. I think the newest wheels I'll ever put on my 348, if any, would be the 355 wheels. My preferred wheel choice would be the Speedline Challenge wheels.
