Hi, can you guys help me identify this plugs?

They look like the two plugs that fit onto the luggage compartment light.

Yes, easily forgotten when the trunk liner is removed and re-installed.

I found this thread using the forum search function, Ray

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/515925-light-wont-raise.html

Maybe a lubrication problem or a motor contact problem.

In the wiring diagrams, there also seems to be some limit switches. If these turn off the motors at the endstops, I wonder if they are working properly.

    Cheers

does the motor react when you start turning on the manual knob behind it?
When you are half way, if the motor is functional, it will suddenly take over and close the light again.

Yes it does, but nothing happens after the knob moves. It just makes a noise...

So the motor spins the knob (indeed watch your fingers), but the light pod does not move down again?
Sounds like the connection between the pod and the motor is loose.
If you pop the hood, and look next to the light pod, you will see the connection levers. It is secured to the motor shaft with a 10 mm nut, which should be nyloc (nylon plastic inside, to prevent coming loose from the motor shaft). I guess that nut is a bit loose. Try tighten it carefully.
But first turn the knob so the light pod is in the same position again as when you started (closed that is)
