My car is due for its major in November and I've been reading every major post here, every arguement over spark plugs, bearings, timing brand belts etc... till blue in the face lol

I dont intend this to be a debate over which ones to use, Ive decided to use ferrari branded belts over the "identical' daycos, but my post here is about more over which ones are actually ferrari branded.

Ive seen 3 commonly posted here.
-All blue or white, with no "ferrari anywhere" Obviously dayco.
-From "dealer on ebay": White or yellow with "Ferrari" printed multiple times along with the dayco brand
-From user here who claimed ricambi: Yellow dayco, with one tiny laser "ferrari" with a date code

One is obviously just a plain dayco belt, but these pictures would indicate ferrari has two different ways to label there versions of the dayco belts Print ferrari all over it, or just print it once it what looks like an after thought.

Who did you order from and which one did you get?

The bottom picture, with the laser printed dot-matrix is Genuine Ferrari. They simply label that belt, 107833 (308 2-valve), differently than the other ones. Maybe they're made in a different factory or something, but its still a correct 'branded' item.

    You, with a F355, would get a yellow-stamped 184976 timing belt.

Thanks guys, Ricambi kit it is then.

Just trying to figure out if I should wait to order the kit until after the car is all apart, Incase I need other parts, like motor mounts, hydraulic tensioner, other gaskets etc

Good idea to wait and order everything at once
