    Hi. Im the happy owner of a yellow F355 with manual gear. during driving the periodically loses power, I guess some spark plugs are not igniting. I have heard this a common problem on 355 / 355 engines, and it is some coils that needs to be exchanged. The problem is on / off during driving..?

    Claus, I had the same issue with my 355.

    Changed one of the coils, and never had the problem again.

    Much more information is required to properly diagnose this issue...

    - What year is your 355?

    - Did you get a CEL? and if so, did you check the codes?

    - Did you get a SDL?

    Are you sure the fuel pump is not playing up ? If it was plugs or coil you would expect to hear it back firing or missing

    Mine did it. Bad cat ecu would out of the blue, cut out a bank of cylinders.
