You should be able to find all four of your requests on eBay but be prepared to pay dearly.

Your shopping list could cost ten grand which is a lot of servicing

It is unlikely your car had the jack kit but if it did it also had a spare wheel - if it did not it just had an aerosol inflator

Similarly the standard stereo depends on year (and is discussed very frequently here) but could have been cassette or cd with the cd changer as an option

And as for the luggage set well they were remade a few years ago but i think dealers have sold them off

Other than that welcome & enjoy

Oh and from your other post do you need some or all of the books too ?

And your toolkit requirement will depend on your 355's model year. The early cars had kits similar (same?) as the 348. Later cars used the smaller kit, same as being sold by bjwhite.

Fwiw, Brian's toolkit price is very reasonable for a later model, complete 355 tool kit in nice shape - or at least reasonable in the US.

    OP.

Toolset- you list your car as a 1998 so it should be the short kit that BJWhite lists. You can find "new" from Ferrari or vendors but note that the tools are not exactly the same. They don't have the markings as they came from the factory. If you want something very correct get one like from BJWhite.

luggage set. I think I saw one on ebay right now, about $4k is the asking. Never seen another set anywhere, ever. Super rare.

Jack Kit - this is unobtanium. I have been looking for over a year. They do come up but are super rare from my understanding.

Original tape deck with changer - The deck alone with the ferrari logo seems to be around $700 or more and the changer is a few hundred more. I think I saw a set for about $1000 on ebay 6 months ago and it sold. People go a bit nuts trying to get these cars back to platino. If you find a radio, just buy it. they are hard to find. Get it even without the changer if need be.

    For my car I needed:
late 1995 berlinetta manuals with correct Schedone wallet (no loops for flashlight)
tall toolkit with spare tire canister and cigarette lighter lamp (tall is rare, the lamp is hard to find as well)
car cover set - not hard to find but a good quality one was hard
Radio - got lucky and found one.

If you plan to keep the car for a while, be patient, stuff comes up. Definitely, keep checking this board as well as ebay.

Richard, you probably don't want the original CD player unless you want skipping problems. I recall it didn't have a big enough memory buffer to prevent music interruptions when the car went over large bumps. The original 6-disk Sony was the CDX-F20 (225mm (7&7/8") x 68mm (2&3/4") x 158mm (6&1/4") (w/h/d)). This is the same as the Sony CDX-T62 (and -T65), but these won't have the Ferrari logo.

I found a slightly later model (I recall it's the Sony CDX-T69). It's a little bit taller (just squeezes in). No Ferrari logo. It has a 1 Mb buffer.

    Cheers

Documentation will also vary according to what month your car is

As noted above the completist might also need the emergency light and cover set

Did I see in one of your other posts you also need a roof - lets hope it doesn't rain any time soon !

    Hi All

Just wanted to say thank you for such a positive response to my first post, I've been a member of a number of car related forums and there are some real cats out there, however, seems like a really solid crowd on here.

I've already had a number of mesages/emails and I'm getting around to them now but quite a few bits are already sorted. Thank you.

I dont need a roof, I've just had issues with them in the past and found it's better to have one and not need it, then need one and not have it.

I've had three escort cosworths and this is my first venture into the Ferrari world and I'm over the moon so far.

A few morre queries if anyone can help please???

I might have found a stereo but it's a later Becker model, would that be the right one for a 1998 Spider? Or does it really matter?

With the book pack, mine has a loop for maglite torch, are these hard to find? And is this what people mean when they refer to the emergency light?

    Cheers

You need to get acquainted with this https://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/ferrari/355-5-2-motronic which implies you have the wrong wallet since the original emergency light was not a torch and so did not need loops like the later torch - to be honest I cannot recall but the answer is probably in several earlier threads here - like so much other information !

The Becker 4372 is the cassette or 6104 for CD - they look the same - pictures here Ferrari | Becker Audio Systems Repairs

    Thanks for this

The seller has a weird setting where you can't ask him any questions, which seems a bit dodgy?

    What do you think?

Richard, is your car a right hand drive UK car? I would check to see if UK cars were fitted with a Becker or a Sony Radio/CD if you're looking for originality. I don't know if the wiring is the same. If it's different, it may be easier to fit the correct type.

If you order a replacment tool kit today it's not the same as what we got with the cars.

Whatever you do, do NOT buy from ferr parts. I can give you multiple reasons and other members that have been royally screwed by them. Don't be tempted by there cheap price. It's all garbage parts that have been cobbled back together with glue or bondo.
