I got tired of my fingers getting black and inadvertently touching the tan leather.

The easy off works great. I guess I need to paint them now. read about a bunch of folks who use this method.

You'd really pucker if you saw me use acetone on the leather to remove my black sticky fingerprints....

Nail polish remover!

It was a little shuddering when a bunch of the tan came off on the towel. But when it dried it looked great. I can't even see it and I'm super anal retentive.

Again it was a suggestion from one of the veteran fchatters!

Nail polisher remover is acetone - same thing except price! :-)

...WOW that gap is huge.. way bigger than on mine..!! But I have a simpler solution.. I neve rdrive in the rain... Even if the sky is thinking sabout raining, I stay in and dry Ha ha !!!

Andrew, I've seen one tiny hole in you logic. Jeff and I live in the UK. If we never went out when there was a chance of rain, we'd never go out at all! My car lives in a carcoon with a dehumidifier inside. If I get caught out she's back in her bubble with the air blowing over her and the dehumidifier turned up. Doesn't take long till she's bone dry again.
