I replaced all my cracked leather straps (tool kit and tire repair kit) with REAL leather, they made perfect copies (I actually like more the color) and they swapped the buckles.
Price, honestly I do not know my father in law sent it to a leather craftsman in Mexico and he is refusing to tell me how much they were.
Ricambi has original ones for 198.53 for the tool kit and 285.20 for the tire repair kit.
I have no idea how much they were but I am almost certain they were cheaper and these straps are REAL leather, sol they wont crack like the originals do.
I am not going to install the tire repair kit ones, I have a stereo amplifier in that area, but I like to have the car "complete".
I am going to put some kind of protection where the tool kit bottom strap metal plate touches the tool kit, I have seen tool kits damaged by this small metal plate rubbing against the tool kit.
I wanted to share these with you, they look awesome

The leather guy who did these did a great job. What is his name and number?

It is in Mexico and I do not have it, my father in law ordered them, I have asked him several times how much they were and he doesn't want to tell me, but I am sure you can order them with a leather craftsman anywhere.

They look great but one of the issues is that the holes have to be very specifically placed in order for the metal clip to fit over them properly. Note that the hole closes to the end is farther from the end than the OEM part. That will prove to be an issue. You could use washers and skip the metal clip or make a new part.

I've gone through this, and my issue was color match. I ended up happy enough with my end product. But... the dimensions are very important... especially since there isn't much mounting/buckling wiggle room.

I see your point, I believe that is an easy fix, I will measure the metal plates.

Can you please confirm that all the straps are secured by rivets (I got them off the car when I purchased the car so I don't know how they were attached) BUT the upper tool kit strap that is as actually held by two screws? Thanks

I took all mine for the spare tire to a local tack shop. They redid them all for $100. Came out better than new.

I too had a local leather Tack Shop make mine and they turned out way nicer the the OEM CRAP ( cost was about $100 USD). One thing I wish I did was replace the metal buckles. They too are crap. Just bent metal and they tend to spread apart. Very disappointed with this lack of quality and the outrageous pricing for cardboard replacement pieces.

The OEM straps are garbage and are an embarrassment on Ferrari. They are some sort of vinyl covered pressed paper crap. Why they didn't use real leather on such a small item in a $150k+ car is criminal. I couldn't care less if they match perfectly... they are 500% better than the original crap!
