On a 360, with both doors locked, can the passenger door simply be opened by lifting up on the door latch from inside the car?

Mitchell, did you lock yourself in again? AAA is going to start charging you extra for that soon.

Try it and see. Be prepared for the alarm to go off. Why not just hit the fob button?

REALLY? Mine doesn't! Does that mean I have a problem I do not know about? I just lift up and it automatically unlocks and the door opens.

Just out of curiosity, how do you get the alarm to go off? I have never heard mine...

YOU ARE RIGHT! I just went out and tested it. It does set off the alarm if you lock it with the fob and open a door from the inside.

If you lock it from the inside and just pull up on the door lock it unlocks without setting off an alarm.

I just heard my alarm for the first time! It works...

I am troubleshooting a door issue.

The door cannot be opened from the outside, only from the inside. It seems, the lock thinks that the door is locked always. The fact that it can be opened from inside points to ....

    1. Lock module itself
    2. Door lock controller is not sending the right signal to the right side door
    3. Door lock and unlock relay

    Thanks for the confirmation

The mechanism uses different cables for inside/outside operation. Could be the cable that connects the outside lever to the latch.
