Got it this morning. Needs a detail this weekend. Question can I use a Battery Tender Brand Charger to charge the battery or should I have the Ferrari official Charger? 1st pics in garage: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats! Great color combo. You can use any battery tender, but if you want to use the factory connection point under the dash by the driver side, then you need a special connector at the tail of your tender. You can read more here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q/347563-yabtp-making-battery-conditioner-connected-light.html including how to make it yourself. I have made several for my F-cars myself in order to use a higher capacity C-tek.
i believe any battery charger will work. congrats, great looking car, the color combo is unique and really seems to work.

I love the C7. 460 HP, nice growl with the NPP exhaust. Good Daily Driver for Late Spring to Early Fall
Congrats on the new car and you do have a lot of shovels hovering over/next to your new Ferrari!! Love the Vettes too.
I almost got one before pulling the trigger on the 360. They are awesome with the widebody, I just didn't want to take the financial hit and TAVT tax. Will probably get a C7Z down the road.
Congrats, awesome color combo! I'll bet you didn't spend 6 years looking for this car didja? Sorry, just a little ribbing of I.T. Guy, our favorite owner-to-be.
Nice Vette collection! I especially love that deep blue beauty.... (Damn. Now I'm going to spend all weekend looking at for sale ads again.) Now we need to see some close up pics of the tires!
Congrats! Regarding the battery charger, you can use aftermaket battery tenders. I recommend the Noco Genius battery tender.
i like the blue vette. It is a model that will see some appreciation soon. I offer adoption services, if you ever find yourself in need of fostering.
That 1968 Corvette small block looks great in International Blue with a bright blue interior and 'no headrest' seats! Very nice car collection there. Grigio Silverstone with a bordeaux interior for the 430 Spider?
Many congratulations - my car is exactly the same colour combo! Regarding your tender question - Ferrari do make an OEM charger -which is exactly the same as the CTek MXS 5.0 only 500% more expensive. So if you haven't got a charger- just get one of these: MXS 5.0 I leave mine connected permanently connected to the battery, via a time-switch so it gets 3-4 hours a day trickle. This has worked perfectly for me for years. I believe if the car is a MY08 or later it will have a connector under the dash for the charger, otherwise you'll need to run connectors from behind the passenger foot-well face plate. Simple job. Great motoring and enjoy!
Bought than one a couple of years ago on an eBay Auction with that same idea that the Chrome Bumper C3 Corvettes are starting to hit that appreciation climb that the C2 & C1 Corvettes are in.
