I'm thinking of going from black calipers to yellow. Anybody have their brakes repainted recently and care to share what you paid to have all 4 sets of calipers:

    - removed
    - prepped
    - painted
    - Ferrari lettering re-applied
    - re-installed

Total, out the door price was ?

I changed the calipers on my aston martin from red to yellow, it was powder coated.

The cost to do the color change (powder coat, rebuilt calipers) was $90 per corner, so almost $400 all said and done. I spent $30 to buy high temp sticker on ebay to stick the logo back on the caliper, they looked even better than from factory.

In addition to it, I had to pay about 1.5hr of labor to take off and put back on, and a brake fluid flush. So its definitely labor saving to do it when you plan on flushing your brake fluids.

Thanks, yah, I didn't even think about the brake fluid flush - I'm guessing that added another $150 or so in parts/labor? Making your true total about $550?

About so, yeah. I was also installing new suspension parts so everything had to come off anyways, and got to roll labor together.

Any suggestions for a company to do the powder coat and rebuild? I'm struggling to find a really good specialty place in the US.. Actually considering sending to the UK as I've found many specialist there.

I dont know why you would ship overseas, so many places can do a good job its not really rocket science. The japanese ricer / tuning crowd powder coat everything they can get their hands on, and frankly because of that there are a lot of competent and price competitive shops around, haha.

The brembo calipers on the 360 is just a brembo caliper, made by the same company that makes the brembo calipers for the nissan 370z, acura tls etc. If you can take the calipers off yourself then it saves you from worrying about non exotic car shops touching your car.
