Help over heat f430

    Hi I haven't drove it for about a week 2007 f430
    I let it idle for about 18 minutes because haven't started it
    And the coolant temps are over 220 f what can the issue be please help thanks
    No check engine lights or anything

    Can you hear radiator fans coming on? They should come on when the coolant gets hot. Maybe a fuse is blown or a bad relay. That would be the first things I would look for.

    Did you drive it? If so did the temps come down. I would not idle my car for that long. 5 mins max. You really want air flow through the radiators. As stated though, the fans should have come on.

    Thanks. For the response I really didn't have time to drive it I parked it so busy today but so you know what temp the fans should kick in ?

    Fans should kick on around 190-200F (the mark just before 210) if you are sitting idling.

    +1 on the fans but airflow will assist in cooling. Check fuse/relay, they are know to pop.
