    I scored a brand new set of Scuderia seats for my F430. Black Alcantara. I like them so far, but will know more after a 1 hour drive tommorow. They sit pretty low, size is large and they fit tight on the back. I have a wide back.

    Anyways....

    Very nice! Really enhances the "racyness" of the interior.

    Looks great. Can you get seat risers from the dealership?

    I have been fortunate to have owned a F430 and now I own a Scuderia...my seats were night and day different and depending on how you enjoy your F430 that could be bad or good. For example driving for long periods of time is definitely easier and much more comfortable in a F430 seat, the Scud seats are simply not designed for long term comfortable driving. However if you are going to track or even drive super aggressively in your F430 the Scud seats are amazing in regards to minimizing body movement. For me personally, I love my Scud but do not enjoy a very long trip or sitting in traffic for long periods of time...

    Thanks guys!

    I got in a few hours of driving yesterday and all is good, so I'll be keeping them!

    Just need to decide what to do with my Daytona's.

    Very nice Eric! How did the seatbelt wiring go?
    I have a set coming from Eric (Speedracer800) and can't wait to put them in. Closest to Scud look with the gated 6 speed shifter. I'll post pics hopefully next week when they arrive.

    I just left everything unplugged. I was only going to mess with it if I had a seat belt light/buzzer come on, but it didnt.

    Do you mean the sensor to tell the car if the seat belt is buckled in? The sensor is on the buckle itself, which you can re-use because it is bolted onto the seat.

    Here is my data:

    Seats - F430 2008 UK model, leather, non-Daytona, electric adjust, heated x 2 = 28.2kg
    16M/Scuderia - full leather x 2 = 17.9kg
    Saving = 20.6kg

    Seats - mounting bolts and washers - M10 x 8 = 0.028kg
    16M/Scuderia - M8 x 8 = 0.017kg
    Saving = 0.088kg

    Total saving = 20.668kg / 45.565lbs

    Eric, did you get individual weights? I'd be interested to compare the seats to mine.

    Hi, each Scud Seat was 36 lbs. I used my bathroom scale. Each one of my Daytona seats was 62 lbs.
