G'Day everyone, Around a month ago I got delivery of my 2003 Rosso Fiorano 360. What a dream come true that was. My first impressions after taking the 360 out for a spin a few times are amazing as I'm sure you can imagine. Being a Ferrari rookie owner I did want to ask some of the more experienced Ferrari owners (In particularly those that own/owned a 360) if there is anything I should look out for? I'll be driving the car as much as possible as I want to enjoy it but I'd also appreciate any tips on how to best take care of it and preserve it. I did notice that the stock exhaust is quiet so I will be looking at geting a Tubi exhaust. Also, would installing a challenge grill be beneficial? I kind of like it being stock and might opt for the Challenge grill at a later date. The suckiest part about the 360 is not the 360 itself but rather my location. I'm based in Toledo, OH where the roads are shocking and some of the folks tend to be *********s lol It's hard pulling out or in anywhere without getting a "honk" for taking it slow lol Thanks and I'm looking forward to your comments. ps. Congrats! Beautiful. Adding a challenge grill is really not non-stock as it was available from Ferrari - note that there are both front and rear grills to replace. The rear challenge grill should provide better ventilation to help keep engine compartment temps lower.
That thing is absolutely beautiful, one of the best colors. You know I know all about the trials of living in Toledo . Btw, I will be back there for a few days at the end of June, would love to see that beauty in person.
Nice color combo. Re: exhausts, imo, modenas are pretty quiet when inside them. Even my tubi isn't super loud to me...although My wife says she can hear me all around the neighbor hood when I'm driving, so it's still doing something...just not in the cockpit. The challenge grill is mostly for engine ventilation and looks.
Beautiful colors, but then I'm biased. Ours is rubino micalizzato with crema interior. Really like your interior. Picture is kind of dark but looks like Bordeaux carpets. We have black and I'm thinking of changing to Bordeaux. Will help moderate the OCD of picking lint. Enjoy your new beauty! Cheers, Andy
Congratulations! First thought: Pretty car! If there was ONE and only ONE piece of advice I'd give an owner or prospective owner: read the **** owners manual! That, and enjoy the car. Respect it, but enjoy it. Follow the operating procedures in there and you'll do fine.
Congratulations! Beautiful car! One thing for sure these cars creates lots of attention. My recommendation is to try and wave and say Hi back and smile to people. We dont want them to think we are a bunch of snobs or arrogants. If you can, try and give rides, or give the OK to people to have their pictures taken with the car, especially kids as that really brings a lot of smiles on their faces. You will certainly make their day and never forget the experience. Here's one 10 year old, I asked him if he wants his picture taken in my driver seat and he was all smiles. Mom was very grateful. Also, these cars are an amazing driving machine so drive her the way she's designed and meant to be driven and she will put a big smile on your face. Dan Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks I've been watching video's on YouTube and so far I'm leaning towards Tubi. I think it has a cleaner sound and not as aggressive when compared to the Capristo. What do you think?
I actually have noticed it sounds much louder when I turn down both windows lol I'm leaning towards a Tubi. How much do they run? Purchase and install? Thanks

After Googling it, I believe it is the Bordeaux color you mention I've also attached another photo showing the speakers/subwoofer. Does anyone know if that is stock/option or after market? Congrats and happy trails with your 360! It took me quite a few month to come to grips with the 360. So I am sure the more you drive her, the better you will understand and enjoy the wonderful machine you have.

I think you will love Tubi exhaust. I had them on my 2001 BMW M5, 2006 M6 Coupe, 2009 M6 Cabrio and on my 2003 Ferrari 360. Here's a video of my car with the Tubi exhaust. Dingo, That looks like the optional "High Power HIFI and subwoofer." There should also be an amp in a separate leather cradle under the dash. That option was $1900 when new. For what it's worth, my Spider came with the Racing Exhaust option. I've had the cats replaced with Tubi's and the combo is just perfect to me. Fantastic tone and a bit louder, but not too loud. Great looking car BTW.
Very nice looking car in excellent condition, well done! Easy way to get little bit more noise on low rpm is to have exhaust valves open all the time. There are 2 electrical sockets connected to magnetic valves on both side of the exhaust (easily available). Just plug out those sockets, it will not take more than 30 seconds (please watch out hot exhaust, first time better to do when car is cold). It cost nothing and will be easy to plug back for example long road trips. You can also get remotes, which does same thing eventually. Noise is same as before during high accelerations and if this is not enough, go for new exhaust.
