You can always buy OEM metal Challenge paddles for $2000 or standard length carbon paddles for almost $3000 from Ferrari.

I always thought that our paddles at $700 were a bargain and normally have to explain to customers how they are actually better constructed than the OEM ones despite a price that is a fraction as much; people just don't want to believe that that is fair money until they find out how much Ferrari is ripping them off for the OEM stuff.

 

I stuck a set of Carbonio extended length carbon fibre paddles on my 360 a few weeks ago and like them very much. I definitely do not have to fumble around any more, and they were wonderful on the track the week before last. High recommended IMHO.

 

I am very strict with my mods and prefer oem but this carbonio paddles are the best option contact Daniel at Ricambi

 

Sometimes its best to keep your mouth closed, today I can't. Richard, dude, you can't be seriously trying to tell a guy how much you will pay for his product?? If you don't want to pay for them just don't buy them!! But to get on here and whine about the price is a little much.

You asked where to buy them, people showed you.

 

Try http://www.macarbon.com , I have heard good things about there work as well, not sure they sell paddles.

You can always hit the "Sponsors" button at the top of any page in the blue bar area and see who makes what. You could always try a google search, however, it appears that all have said the carbinio are good product.

 

Actually, the Macarbon paddles are the ones I had on my CS.

 

Richard- I have a low end pair of extended ones you can have for $350, but they are nowhere near the quality of the Carbonios now on my car. Here are some photos of the Carbonios, which are easily worth $700.

Richard- Dawns on me mine may be for the 360/575 and may not fit an F430. Will check next week. They are at my tech's shop and they are gone for the weekend.

360 paddles will physically fit a 430 but the reach is different so the distance to the steering wheel will be off by a considerable margin. As such there is a different application for the 360 and the 430.

On the other hand you can always duct tape some used chop sticks to your existing paddles and extend the OEM ones for nothing

As far as volume discounts go it reminds me of a friend of mine that worked at a bike store and a customer asked him if he could get a 'bulk' discount on tires. Turns out the customer needed 2 tires!

 

Rob- Compared to your paddles, the set I never installed are pretty poor. Yours are beautiful and perfect, with up and down markings, and look better than the factory paddles.

If I were Richard, I would buy another set of Carbonios. But somewhere out there is a sucker who will buy the ones that were not good enough to go on my car if the price is cheap enough. Paid $400 for them and was hugely disappointed. Will happily take a loss.

I got mine from MaCarbon. 5 years later they are great.

What I struggle to understand is why somebody would spend well over $150K on a car (possibly double this amount in Switzerland!) and then quibble over the couple of hundred dollars extra that the best quality paddles will cost.

Quantity discounts of the order being discussed simply do not apply to qty 2 units at $700 each. I might push for a small discount (perhaps 5% or 10%) just because I'm cheeky, but even then it would be normal to order both items at the same time. IMHO, it's just plain rude to expect a discount in excess of 40% on the second set.

My 2 cents worth.

 

Wow, $300K. Thank God you only pay 14% income tax, or has this changed since the year I lived there (1993)?
