New tire help for 360

I went form Pzeros to Hankooks on my stock rims. Overall, the Hankooks are okay. Very quiet and good treadwear. They don't handle as well. I just got some CS wheels with Corsas so the handling is going to be a lot different. Good luck.

I went with Bridgestone RE11s.

 

Same here, night and day difference in wear and grip.

 

Likewise; love them!

So u guys recommend re11s for street use I won't be tracking...I'm due this summer for more rubber

 

I think Hankooks are fine for street driving. My 2¢.

avoid the pirellis and go with this

 

I just installed he continental extreme dw's which come in stock sizes or 19's. They have plenty of grip & very quiet. Can't comment on wear as I hav not put many miles on them yet. Tire rack has some great prices on them.

 

Besides the $100 per tire difference Do the re11s last longer compared to hankooks for normal driving...

 

Hankooks +2, cheap and ok for street use, don't grip in the corners as well as others...

 

I have 1K on my RE11's. A great tire for my 360 spider. They feel heavier than the Pirellis but do they stick to the road!

 

I was getting tires for my Sienna from these guys and asked them about the RE11s. They told me they have 2 sets in the 360 OEM sizes (just in case someone is looking?). I am not connected with them at all.

Hankooks are working for me, no track use, but aggressive driving and around town, can't beat the price.

Hankooks are surprisingly good. I have not heard of any issues or complain whatsoever. Good price for good product.

A better front size would be 235/40/18 if you can get that size (I couldn't but it's available in US).

The MPSS are excellent and are superior in wet/damp grip.

The latest mix I've tried is MPSS stock rear (now available) and 225/45 front (on OEM rims).

I'm very happy with them, they're performing great on road and track and the car is nice and neutral with very little understeer.

Better than the mix I quoted above and also better than 285/35 & 235/40 which I also tried. I had to slightly roll the arches when I used the 225/45 previously. I suspect one might also have to do so with the 225/45.

225/45/18 will most probably rub them.

 

I am a fan of the Hankook V12 evo 2's as well. They are cheap and fantastic performance for the money. For street driving, performance is more than adequate and they are much smoother/quieter than the Bridgestone 50a's I had before. They also seem to absorb potholes and ****ty roads much better than the Bridgestone 50a's I had before.

I've used PS2's on my 911 and have them on my XFR, which are about 75% more $$$ and wear faster. I notice very little difference in the hankooks.

On a track where you can really exploit things, then maybe my opinions would change but for street driving I think people on average pay too much $$ for tires.

ETA: I've also used Nitto Invo's on my 911 b/c hankook doesn't make 315/25/19 and am pleased enough with them as well, but prefer Hankook over the Invos otherwise.
