My new (to me) 2003 Rossa Corsa / Tan 360 Spider

    After nearly two years of looking and lurking, I finally have taken receipt of my new (to me) 2003 Rossa Corsa / Tan 360 Spider with a black top, Isabella (the name given to her by her first owner and maintained by her second, FerrariChat member 360spydr, so I couldn't dare change it). I couldn't be more excited!

    Among other things, Isabella came complete with:

    - Gated 6-speed manual transmission
    - OEM F430 wheels (original 360 starfish wheels too)
    - OEM carbon fiber racing seats (size large)
    - OEM hi-fi stereo (subwoofer and amplifier)
    - OEM CD changer (currently disabled and replaced with iPod adapter)
    - OEM Challenge rear grill
    - Tubi exhaust
    - OEM and custom aftermarket floor mats
    - OEM covers (car, seats, and steering wheel)
    - OEM battery tender
    - All books, tools, records, codes, keys, and fobs (an amazing 5 fobs, including the red master)

    Unfortunately I only got to take her out for a couple of brief drives in her first 48 hours at home. Although Isabella is a beautiful girl, has a virtually new clutch with 5k miles on it, and was well taken care of by her previous two owners in Oregon, she is curently away for a few days getting some spa treatments (full fluid service), a little repair work (tie rods and a bearing), and some new rubber (Bridgestone RE50s all around) from the gentle hands of Richard and Fernando at Competizione & Sports Cars, mechanics extraordinaire and sponsors of this board.

    A few photos of her arrival, first drive, and start of service below. I plan to drive her a lot more! See all of you DC-area folks this spring and summer at the FCA-MAR Spring Thaw and Katie's.

    It' been nearly two years since Isabella came into my life, and what a great ride t has been! With nearly 5000 more miles on her, she drives better than ever and crossed over 40,000 today on the way to winter storage. Can't wait to get her out after the salt washes away and the sun shines again!

    That's a sweet car! Spring thaw and Katie's is definitely the place for it and good to see you're driving and enjoying. As a fellow DMV car guy... Looking forward to seeing the lovely Rosso Isabella out and about.
