The CEL came on today on my drive home and I checked the code and it is P1569 (Brake Light Switch). Does anyone know the correct part number from Ricambi?

    Thanks Joe

    Thanks Daniel.

    It's part number 183433 for a 2001 360 Modena. Order placed.

If your car has an F1 transmission, check the gap between the switch and the brake pedal arm. Too close or too far will leave to an F1 CEL.

My 360 Modena is a 2001 six speed manual, so this should not be the issue. The brake switch is $44 so cheap enough to replace and see if it fixes the issue.

Thread revival. Joe, did replacing the brake pedal switch get rid of your error code?

    Last night I got the P1569 (Brake Switch....Check Wiring/Check ABS/ASR Error/Check Brake Switch Position).

    Please and thanks

Yes, the new brake switch corrected the issue. Good luck.

Thanks Joe. however, I followed another thread that suggested I close the gap about 1 or 2 mm and that was more that 1 week ago. No more cel.
