I just want to confirm that cylinder #1 is behind passenger head rest and #8 is behind drivers head rest. Is this correct? Thanks
Your kinding me right. No one can answer which pistion is #1. I looked throught the WSM and it is not clear. Is it behind the driver seat or is it behind the passanger seat?
Perhaps the procedure and spreadsheet (link below) might help you with your cam belt change. In the spreadsheet, I have a few pictures showing the "official" cylinder numbering for the 360. The spreadsheet also references Magnusson's previous posts on the same topic. BTW: I could not find any reference to cylinder numbering in the Ferrari Workshop Manual; I did find a reference in one of the Ferrari service bulletins. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/142949548-post69.html
This is a picture of the 430 engine but the cylinders are the same..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm a bit confused after duskybird's "EDIT". Prior to the edit, the these two jive but not so after the edit. I thought bank 1 was, indeed, cylinders 1-4 and bank 2 cylinders 5-8.
I know this is 3 years old but I just saw the mistake you pointed out. It should have said 1234 under bank 1. Sorry for the confusion.
