I've only used Pirelli Corsas on my stradales, and they work well for my purposes. I don't track my cars, but I enjoy spirited driving.

I've been hearing good things about Michelin Pilot Super Sports tires (MPSS), so I'm curious to hear some feedback from anybody running these on their stradale.

My Pirelli Corsas are quiet (no screeching or squealing until near the limit). I sat shotgun in a Modena fitted with some flavor of Micheln tires (this was back in 2005 I think), and those tires squealed like crazy almost all the time. Very annoying.

I just changed my Pirelli Corsa's for the MPSS on my Stradale.
Only drove 500kms with them so far, but they seem to have equal grip in normal dry conditions with spirited driving most of he time ;)
They should grip alot better in the wet compared to the Corsa's, but i can't confirm that yet!
So far, they haven't squealed either.

Thank you for your comments. The MPSS tires are a lot less expensive than the Pirellis, and I keep hearing good things about them. The squealing I heard 10 years ago on a Modena with some flavor of Michelin tires was so pronounced even when no where near the limit that it was distracting. I'm glad to hear the MPSS tires on your stradale are quiet :) thanks again for your feedback.

Quite a few CS tire threads on here already. I'm running RE11's on my current CS and ran them on my last one as well.

You're right. Sorry. I poked around and I did find quite a few guys asking the same question :)

What do you think about going slightly wider in the front 235/35x19?

+1 RE-11's are great and can't beat the price. Way better than OEM Corsa's

Welcome back Rick! I run 235's up front with no problems. Do it! :)

Get the 235 in the front...fits just fine. (there has been 1-2 posters that experienced some bad installation fails, but many of us run 235 up front on the standard wheel with zero issues)

Get MPSS or RE-11 and you will be very happy. Better grip, longer wear, cheaper to buy. I have RE-11 on the CS and put MPSS on my maser spider and could not be happier with either of them. The MPSS in particular is very quiet and even softened up the ride in my maser, whereas the RE-11 on the CS stick like glue.

I'm glad I asked for advise before I made a purchase. I has planned on simply replacing my Pirellis with Pirellis. All of this feedback and advise has saved me a couple thousand dollars :)

    Thanks everybody! I appreciate it.
