I ask this question because I think they are unique. Maybe I am wrong...

Very nice. Any Scud or 16M with leather option will have the same seats. Were they fitted from new or added later, they are not the usual sports seats for an F430 - what year is your car?

    'SCUD'
Verb. To move fast as if driven by the wind.

They were fitted from new. My F430 spider is from 2009. As I only saw pictures of 16M with alcantara seats, I though it didn't exist full leather 16M racing seats...

I have never seen the full seat in leather before, as the centre section is usually Ferrari's technical fabric

OK. Thank you Russel. In France, it seems to be very rare... even more in a "simple" F430 spider... :)

NB your 16M seems perfect ! I love your stripes...

I think you are correct, leather Scud/16M seats will be a rare option on an F430 spider.

Here is an 09 Scuderia option list showing full leather interior is optional. On most of the other Ferraris racing seats were optional, and came with CF backs and leather seating surfaces. Looks like they were not available on the F430 until later in production, because none of the 2005 options lists show them.

    Excellent ! Thank you.
I see leather is 1000$ more expensive than alcantara. I think it would be more or less the same thing in Europe.

    Superb detail as always Taz!
I think the key point here is that these aren't the usual carbon backed sports seats for the F430 (which are very nice but look quite different - same as CS?) but are instead the type used in Scud/16M which I assume we're introduced late on in F430 production as an additional sports seat option - as the OP says I think they must be pretty rare as a factory option on an F430.

Do these Scuderia/16M seats have the same dimensions/mounting as the 458 Italia sport seats?

Just curious... how many options does the color of the wheels have? I think mine is a bit on the darker side of gun metal color... compare to the other gun metal wheels of the scud. Its an original color, it came like that since new.

Im aware in my 16M there is no height adjustment lever available as in the Scud coupe.
Never got a real answer why. In any event I would presume 458 has height adjustment capability

Maybe to prevent injuries to a taller passenger in case of a roll over

    Scott,
Its just the sun or reflection of the seat color playing tricks. Its the car in post 7 looks like Pozzi blue.
