Just was browsing and saw this 16M... Ferrari 430 2dr Conv SCU | eBay Seems like 199k is a bargain compared to the rest of the market? Didn't think I'd see a 16M asking price under 200 but guess I was proven wrong. I figured with the limited 499 production they would be holding their value better than they have been.
First one I have seen at that price.....it would be interesting to see the autocheck report for any prior accidents or issues.
How many miles? (Edit...hmmm..."only" 7800 miles...that dealer has had several 16m's for sale and are not typically the lowest priced...interesting) There was iirc a blue one at CNC with an asking price of $205k a year or two back...it had high miles, thus the low price...that was the lowest I've seen. Didn't this seller have a couple for sale earlier in the year? I think they were asking $219 for one. That was the lowest price I had seen for one till now. This is my next dream car and unless they continue the downward price trend, it will be just that...a dream. If only Ferrari had made a Spider version of the CS...
This dealer had several 16M cars for sale earlier this year, but this one has been for sale for a long time. Great price if no history...
If I'm not mistaken, it has an accident on the report. I was looking at 16m's about 6 months ago and used this price as leverage but the dealership said it had an accident report. I didn't see the report personally.
A serious accident. Tough to repair carbon fiber correctly, the low price reflects the value difference between a no stories 16M and this one. Bentley had another 16M last fall that was nearly configured the same but with the star wheels and was a no stories car. It sold within weeks. Before long this one will have sat for a year there. Check the service too to make sure it has been kept up over the last year it has been sitting. If not then there can be delayed maintenance due.
I'm creating one. I have just over 400 in the register to date. A number of the VIN collectors have kindly helped out so far.
Update: Three 16Ms in AutoTrader: 1. Nero/3K Miles: 300K USD 2. Bianco Avus/ 5K miles: 280K USD 3. Rossa Corsa/ 12K miles 239K. This looks like the Miami Rental Car that was for sale on FCHAT some months back: Ferrari Rental In Miami | Miami Ferrari Rentals http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/473984-2009-ferrari-16m-scuderia-spider.html
The Bianco Avis one was for sale in Dallas for over a year. Last asking price for the car was around $245k . Looks like they are trying to make a few bucks. I knew I should have bought at $245k.
I was told stay far away from all 3 cars on the market. Apparently they all have stories - do your research!
what are the issues with the nero car and the bianco avis cars? Couldn't find anything. The nero car with 3K miles at 300K seems a little high but I like where the market is going.
No issues with white car, know it very well. No idea about Blk csr. I think 16 m prices are about trend up quickly.
rossa corsa 16m, with 3k clean history. leather seats with alcantera centers, carbon rocker panels and tricolor livery. two owner, service history complete. what is a reasonable number on this car?
