F430. installing the Capristo headers, I removed the AC compressor and this aluminum spacer fell off above it. I'm thinking it was just sitting on top and fell when I loosen the bolts enough. Anyone know if it belongs somewhere on engine?? Near the AC.
Retract that....... The spacer is used at the top bolt from ac housing to engine. Once I put the ac back in place, could clearly feel the spacer missing. I think it's time to clean up and get some rest. Lol.
Bet you're glad you found it now! Just for my idle curiosity, do you loose the AC gas for this procedure or can you move it out of the way without?
