Here are some vids of my car with the following: - S-Line x-pipe - S-Line exhaust - Fabspeed headers - Fabspeed sport cats With only S-Line xpipe & exhaust (NO headers and sport cats), the car had similar high-pitch tone but not as loud. - In this first vid, I took the revving part using a DSLR but iPhone vids after that: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXt6kT4DRnw]RR430 - True F1 high pitch sound - YouTube[/ame] - Somebody took these next two vids when I was leaving cars & coffee: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCBzg5jeVhE]RR430 Acceleration - YouTube[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etN14-j94Gc]Ronnie's RR430 Project: F1 Exhaust - YouTube[/ame] - Regular driving with windows OPEN: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SrJzXbP9R0]RR430 - regular driving with WINDOWS OPEN - YouTube[/ame] - Regular driving with windows CLOSED: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B0x1Guxmf8]RR430 - regular driving with WINDOWS CLOSED - YouTube[/ame] Pictures: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like fantastic craftsmanship for the 430! Are you the guinea pig for the 430? The sounds is intoxicating, I see some very long drives coming! Enjoy and thanks for sharing.
Sounds different than the scud still Ron, even from the dslr. Not as high pitched and clean. Maybe it's because how the x-pipe merges? It follows the traditional x-pipe layout vs the scud one which goes around then into the merger. Davey & Teague couldn't reuse the same form factor? Does 430 Dave have the same dslr as you? Or lend him your mic! That way we can know if it's just the recording equipment changing the sound. I know my iPhone couldn't handle the pitch & volume on mine and it crackles the mic.
Sounds beautiful. Very f1 sounding. Must have spent so much on all the mods to that car, any idea how much total?
Yeah, mine is the first one. S-Line has been selling their Scuderia XXX-pipe since last year. Similar to Kreissieg prob, not sure about Novitec. Dave told me the x-pipe is exactly the same as the Scud XXX-pipe, but in F430 the x-pipe is mounted/angled down, maybe that's why it looks different. The exhaust piping after the x-pipe could make the sound a bit different also. Not as clean = raspier? I think mine below 3000 rpm has some rasp but above that is pretty clean high-pitch.
suara nya lumayan beda ron. nih lu compare aja ron, ini semua pake iphone doank tp: http://scontent-a.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xpa1/t50.2886-16/10556096_562849167160817_1028021809_n.mp4 http://scontent-b.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xfa1/t50.2886-16/10568252_531770406928622_1654210877_n.mp4 http://scontent-b.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xap1/outbound-distilleryimage0/t0.0-18/OBPTH/acd856ec122111e4afe10002c9b472ec_101.mp4 http://scontent-b.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xfa1/t50.2886-16/10611296_351100685041006_413910181_n.mp4
That can be easily changed. S-Line is still in the process of putting this on their website, I'd guess around $4500 for the x-pipe & exhaust (basically everything after the cats).
Do you have a before / after dyno runs? If not how does the car feel compared to before after the headers, cats and exhaust?
I didn't do any dyno. I feel more torque in the mid-rpms (4000 rpm or so). Downshifts feel a lot faster. I'm getting the Fabspeed/EVOMSit ecu tune next week.
Two videos comparison between stock F430 exhaust vs S-Line. Taken with Samsung phone (closer to the real sound in person): https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10204587132862151&comment_id=10204587259785324 Taken with iPhone (sounds deeper, Samsung def takes better sound recording quality): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSmKkvUzhtY
Very nice; sounds great. Congrats! Routing looks superior to the Scud x-pipe they did IMO. The X is closer to the headers in terms of piping length - that is typically what will yield the best power. Of course, without a dyno; who knows.
