What percentage worn is acceptable? I believe when my clutch got to about 30% worn with 12 k miles it stating slipping out of gear on my 05 360 spider. Memory can definitely be falling me... Just rings a bell that 30% worn number. It was a long time since I had that 360. I am considering a CS and just want to do the proper due diligence on this particular car. Thx

Not 30% worn... 30% remaining. That is when you should start considering scheduling for a new one.

That's correct 30% remaining as apposed to 70% remaining which means you've got many miles (and good times) left.

Drive until it starts slipping. There is not an exact percentage where it starts slipping. When it starts slipping, change it. :D

Don't let it slip too much as you can damage the flywheel

The flywheel is usually toast before the clutch slips anyway. A good shop will machine it correctly or get it to someone who can...
