I just got my 2000 360 yesterday! It is my first Ferrari, and I'm in love. Let me tell you all about her! She's got a sexy grigio alloy skin and a luxurious blue interior. She was a single owner car (now a 2 owner car!) with 26k miles, and was just fully serviced with new belts, fluids and tires. I'm in heaven. In celebration, my wife and I planned a date night (having prearranged a babysitter). We got lots of thumbs up from other drivers during her maiden outing. When we arrived at the restaurant, the valet put her right out front, a prominent location befitting such a beauty. We watched as people stopped to look at her, and some even took pictures! I don't think I'll ever get used to that. This morning, I took my daughters into school (one in first grade, one in third). Yes, it took 2 trips. My youngest asked if she still had to ride the bus everyday, because she'd prefer to go in the Ferrari! Very cute. I'm excited to be a Ferrari owner, and wanted to share my first experience with y'all. I've cruised these forums for over a year, and have read lots of great advice about buying a used 360. Congratulations! Your garage looks almost like mine except I have more stuff in it. Scares the heck out of me everytime I leave mine in there. Have fun and it sounds like you will. Curious though - How did you get the car in the trailer sideways like that?
I have a picture somewhere of a mechanic moving an NSX in an enclosed trailer. During transport, the trailer flipped onto its side. They opened the door and there sat the NSX, still tethered to the floor by straps wrapped around its tires, like nothing happened.
Congratulations! The 360 is a great first Ferrari, and it was my choice too. You'll enjoy it - big smile on your face constantly. I'm still hopelessly in love with mine! She likes to keep one hand in my wallet though!!!
