Is there a way to turn off the passenger airbag in a 360? My car does not have a specific cut-off switch.

Ferrari has a kit that can be installed to turn it on and off but last time I checked you still needed to apply for federal governmental permission to install it.

The other way is to unplug it and live with a warning light on the dash.

I did a search on this recently, and someone on the board was quoted about $2k to do it. Not sure of the accuracy of that, but that's what sticks in my head. I was thinking about having it done so I can take my son. I think airbags are supposed to be off up to age 12.

FYI - Having a kit installed in a 997.2 GT3 for about $500, but the non GT3's came with it, so I don't think the federal papers apply in this case.....

You can install a resistor across the airbag plug that will fool the system into thinking it is still there and you will not get a warning light. I did this with my Mini Cooper S as I installed a Sparco seat.

If it is a simple plug - unplug, I think the warning light might be a good idea so you remember to plug it back in when you have a passenger.

If you have a GM product, just let the key fall out of the ignition and the air bags don't go off.

Why is that? It's a latch stored in one fo the ECUs?

ECU stores errors and need to be erased by one of the factory computers.

Yep -- ordinary OBDII code scanners cannot reset it -- needs a trip to the dealer.
