    I have a 2003 360 Spider, 17,500 miles with Tubi exhaust.

Lately I've been getting Check engine light pointing to Oxygen Sensors.

Just wondering if any of you that has the Tubi exhaust get any CEL issues too.

    Thanks in advance.

+1 as I have Tubi on my 360 spider. No CELs.

The Tubi is very unlikely to have anything to do with a check engine light. It's further down the emissions flow than the sensors so it can't really do anything to trip them up.

Since the O2 sensors are the cause of the check engine light, it is probably a sensor near the headers or cats that needs to be investigated.

No CEL issues with my Tubi exhaust. Do you have aftermarket headers?

    Hi Ken,

    Original headers. Just Tubi exhaust.

Thanks for letting me know you have no CEL with your Tubi installed.

hey Dan, it is a known fact 02 sensors do go bad. To b sure its not the sensors, the next step is for you to uninstall your tubi with stock exhaust and see whether there r any cel. If none, then it is your tubi no matter how much you adore it. Are the filters in the intake clog up?

You can save a lot of work by taking the car in and having the system read with an SD2 scanner. Most likely it's a bad O2 sensor. Unless the Tubis were recently installed, it's very unlikely they are the cause. So, removing them just to see if the light goes away is a lot of work for a most unlikely result. Tubis are post cats, and yes, I have them with no issues.

    Thanks.

I dont plan on removing my Tubi.

I already have fault codes. See my thread here.

Just wondering if Tubi has anything to do with it. Thanks to everyone for chiming in that their Tubi doesnt throw any fault codes.

I will check my oxygen sensors soon.

For those that installed their own Tubi exhaust:

My car came with Tubi pre-installed already by the previous owner. I want to check to make sure the vacuum hose is plugged / capped properly.

Can someone tell me please where I could possibly find the vacuum hose that is supposed to be capped?

And if the cap came off for some reason what will happen?

    Thanks in advance.

The valves are kind-of in the two rear corners of the car. If it was just unplugged from the valves and then capped, they would be in that area.
    Vacuum leak, I think.

Something I noticed with my Tubi is that the welds crack. I noticed that the tail pipes were looking a little low. I pulled the back end off to inspect and found that the bracket welded to the exhaust was completely cracked on one side, partially on the other. As well as some slight cracking on the pipe welds. They definitely do not have a good tig welder making these exhaust. You can clearly see that when welding with the tig, they used the existing metal to make the joint vs adding any filler. Now that it's all welded back up it should be fine. I know exhaust welds will tend to crack from time to time, but this makes me a little skeptical of their overall quality.

Hi 360Tom, yes it is a known weakness. My Tubi brackets cracked too and had to be welded. My dealer welded it for me for free when they changed my clutch.
