Wondering how much, on average, should a PPI from a qualified independent Ferrari mechanic cost? In this case it's for a 2006 F430 with under 8k miles.
    Thanks,

Cost for my recently purchased 360 was $500 for a very comprehensive inspection. I added an SD2 readout of the clutch which made the total $600.

When I purchased my F430, I was told that they should spend about 4 hours doing a proper PPI, longer if they will be doing a compression check. I chose to wait to see if there were any red flags before paying for the compression test on a car with low miles. A clutch readout is mandatory in my opinion as it seems to be a good indication of how the car was driven. I would be cautious if an <8000 mile car had more than 20% clutch wear based on my experience (14% @ 8400 mi.) and what I have concluded from reading other posts. My PPI cost about $500 2 years ago.

    Good luck with the purchase!

I paid $900 from a Ferrari dealer for my 360. This was very comprehensive with data about clutch wear, driving history, and even photos of the rotors & pressure meters for all of the compression readings. I had a long list of other questions/items that they also fully addressed...

Does ferrari dealers still do PPI? Was talking to a fellow and he said ferrari doesn't like the dealers doing it. Didn't make sense, they would be the most ovious with all the tools and such.

Anyone has a PPI guide? Also, any points to check pre/during/after test drive?

I will be checking two 360s next week. That would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
