Finally found an app that not only would read and interpret codes, would reset the codes and works great for Ferrari cars (360 & 430).
It also reads all 3 ECU's (Engine 1 & 2 ECU and Transmission ECU).

I tried Torque Pro first but it would only read 1 ECU so I continued to search for an app that works great for F cars.

Here you go for sharing. App is called EOBD Facile. Cost is $12.00.

I tried it yesterday and it read my current fault codes, it decoded it and after I've done some possible fixes the program reset the fault codes.

It also does all sorts of things like reading of sensors in real time, etc.

Program works great on my Samsung S3 Android phone and per their website works great on Apple phones too.

The program also is compatible with the ELM327 bluetooth adapter I bought from Amazon.

Here you go. Note: I have no affiliation to the seller or owner of the program. Just sharing info.

Thanks, I have the Torque pro and it works, but seems a bit hit and miss.

I havent tried the TCU reading mode yet. I just noticed in the menu that when I select pull fault codes it gives me a selection of either ECU1, ECU2 or TCU.

I will try it soon and report back.

    Thanks.

Their website says it is compatible with the 430. Has anyone tried it on a 360?

Dan, does EOBD facile sees stored codes (not current fault codes)
I have an Actron CP9575L OBDII reader but according to its website it doesn't see "trouble codes retained in memory" and I had a flashing CEL while in limp mode after my service a week ago and after restarting the car ran fine (no CEL) and there are no codes (I assume because it's is not present)
    Thanks

I am in the process of using AutoEnginuity- about $4000. It is reading both ecu's but I have not been able to connect to the TCU yet of a 360 challenge car. It is supposed to be able to allow you to bleed the system, center the actuator and set pis value, but all that remains to be seen.

On the engine side it is working properly and reading all Ferrari specific codes, have not tested it on the 430 or any other Ferrari s yet.

I don't know much about the Challenge TCUs but if the software is similar to the early 360 TCU then you have no chance with the Auto Enginuity software.

I'm very familiar with the aftermarket (AE, Texa & Leo) diagnostic kit as well as SD2/3 - early 360 TCUs are SD/Leonardo only.

To the best of my recollection - yes, EOBD reads stored fault codes (not currently active). However it only works when the engine is running so ensure your engine is running, then select "Read Stored Fault Codes". Here you go:

you were right - no joy on the 360 challenge tcu, but good for 2004 360 tcu, scud tcu, and f430. worth the money to me.
