Need to decide.... 2008 F430 triple black spider with 2,800 miles and well optioned including carbon challenge rear grill, carbon rotors and challenge ball polished wheels. Or White 2010 599 GTB with HGTE package 16,000 mi (as seen on this forum) for 20k more. I like both cars equally... Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
They are 2 totally different animals the F430 is more of a sports car for handling, engine layout, balance and tighter lighter car... In the lineage of mid-rear engine Ferraris. The 599 on the other hand is a powerful GT car, heavier, and a brutally fast cruiser...in the lineage of traditional front engine V12 Ferraris. Both are good in there own respective ballparks, just depends on more of what your wanting out of the car/purchase.
I suggest you simply drive the 599....then you'll know and won't have to rely on all of our half baked suggestions
Well don't you have some serious problems!!!! LOL What great choices! I might be tempted to try the one that is depreciating slower, so that you capture some value when you try the other down the road!!!! Both are awesome!!!
Drive them both, one after the other, and buy the one that puts the bigger smile on your face. Don't worry about resale value, miles, etc. IMHO. You are buying this car to enjoy the experience.
Two entirely different cars. But I don't think the white 599 will be as easy to sell once you decide. Just basing that on the color btw...I LOVE the 599. Just not in white. A triple black 430 is bad ass!! Just a ***** to keep clean.
I think it looks great and, contrary to what is widely thought, white does not tend to show dirt very much (had a white C4 Corvette for several years). If you want something that shows dirt, get black or any other very dark color.
What he said. You should first decide if you want a pure sports car or more of a grand touring car. Then the choice is easy(er).
I asked my wife and she said the convertible because I didn't have one.... Of all the Ferrari's the two are my favorite. I collect cars and want too drive them periodically, not tracking the cars, but casually driving. Either would fit the case, just wanting to make the right decision if that's possible in this case. Thanks for all the great opinions!
As Thomas Jefferson once Said, "Once you Black, you don't go Back"........But man, that Black interior will get HOT, if you live in the south....or the North in the summer ... I'd go 430 unless you want something more "subtle" on the road
