I came across a 2000 360 modena that was imported by JK Technologies LLC.
Car is being offered for sale. Are there any pros or cons in terms of specs and market value for this car?

    Thank you

Thats Great Rick! I didn't note the dealer at the time I was still figuring out what data to collect. I am getting better, trying to account for the gated manuals like StockPro does for the CS's.

Yep, that is mine. Just confirmed my VIN ends in 120417. Very cool you're collecting the data. What information are you gathering from each car? Options, transmissions, seat information? Or?

JK does a good job and good quality work. The car will be a 49 state car unless someone subsequently did the CA testing. Contrary to the internet FUD dealers will work on a euro so service isn't an issue. The primary work done to federalize is addition of a O2 pump, cats, speedo , and a bunch of small stuff. Some will change the ECUs and the headers but that isn't done on all cars. I happen to have a complete list of what was done to my car by JK.

Prices for a euro is somewhat less than a US car. The gap has been narrowing as the cars age and will likely continue to do so. You buy it for less and sell it for less. All good.

There are some pretty detailed threads on what is different. The list includes weight, power, ride height, crash structures, etc.

There is no reason to be concerned about owning a euro.

Euros are great cars. Headers on the Euro have no pre cats in them. They are also the same headers that are in the challenge race car. The result is a bit more power. No power seats but it's more like having the car the way it was designed. They change the car to meet other country standards and also equip the cars differently ex power seats. I think it's cool having the gauges in euro spec Celsius vs F. Rear light configuration is cool as well. You get really bright red fog lamps and at night when you have them on it looks like a sea of red behind you. Euro cars are becoming more acceptable. Having all the paperwork is a plus. CA EMMISSIONS Certification is also a plus.
