This is my firewall. Subwoofer at the bottom, this is the little container that sits above it. Part 672090. They are proper threaded holes.

Anyone got any ideas what might have been there?

The holes are 2.5" vertical, 2.75" horizontal spacing.

    Thanks :)

Possibly. I really have no clue. I was thinking a badge or plaque or something but those threaded holes are pretty solid, you may be onto something.

Its not the secret compartment up top is it? The one that opens with the soft switch on the center console?

Hope you have the parts! I would hate to have to buy all that, then figure out what he did with the actuator wiring...

I have a coupe, I wonder if it's the same. I can't make head nor tail of that picture. I wonder if anyone has one installed?

This is the spider rear compartment, with the optional Bose amp and speaker set up.
I don't believe the coupe has such an arrangment

Thanks guys, definitely not that setup on my coupe. I guess having something secure likes that makes sense for the Spider.
