    So after reading multiple threads on the 1st gen manifolds, I decided to give Ferrari of Na a call about the replacement of these.

    Here is the good news for the USA. All 430s who have the 1st gen manifolds, Ferrari will replace for free as it is covered under the emissions law *8 years or 80k miles)

    Bad news is it is only for the USA. I an not so lucky here in Japan and when my manifolds do rupture it will come out of my pocket. Oh well, will drive it till I need it.

    My 360 manifold went ~1 year after the emissions law lapsed on my car. The other bad news is Ferrari likely wont change out the manifold if it is currently working fine...2005-2007 430s are already past the warranty. A $10K job on my 360 for a new manifold and new cats since it took out the cat on one side- changed both cats to aftermarket. That bill hurt!
