I have always been extremely paranoid with my car, from where i park to who I take with me for a ride. I was parked and had my door slightly open as I was about to get out. an elderly driver misjudges and drives colliding with my door and pushing it out of place. It is now completely wrapped. I was able to crack it closed and drive it to reporting center and ferrari autobody shop. The price I have to pay for trying to get out of my car is 1) Insurance premium for 6-10 years 2) Loss of value 3) Deductible Freaking sucks. Expensive price for just opening my door. FYI I did not swing my door open, it was open for some time.
Believe me ..... sometime I park my car in handicap if valet is not available. Handicap ticket does not go on ur record and it cost around $280 which is more easy to pay than having a dent or dings on ur investment
I have used two spots instead of one if the spots are too narrow and I park far so the chances of people needing one of my spots is slim, and I prefer to get a ticket than a ding BUT with all due respect I don't agree with using a handicap spot, it is not the ticket, it is the fact they are for HANDICAP people. I think we should respect that, and I don't have any handicap person in my family, I just don't think is right. Maybe the reason there are so many "haters" that will harm a beautiful car is because of people not respecting other people's rights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You are tempting fate. Someone is liable to key your car something fierce for pulling such a ******-bag move.
I took care of my handicapped mom for 8 years. I would have no trouble trashing your car if you were illegal. they are there for a reason dick head--
If anyone is paranoid enough about parking that they use 2 spots, or worse, use a handicapped spot, then park it...AT HOME. Seriously, don't be ******. It's just a ****ing car. Those spots are there for a reason, and it's not for parking your Ferrari.
Sorry to jump on the pitch fork band wagon but I manufacture Aluminum Handicap Ramps. For some, mobility is truly a burden. Those few less steps can make all the difference. I drive my Ferrari and Lamborghini as daily drivers. Just do what I do....park wayy out in the empty part of the lot. Oh, and don't take up two spots either. You're just asking to get your car keyed. Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice!
How about just parking it at the back of the lot? Why the sense of entitlement you deserve two spots or a handicap spot?
That's a total dick move; please stop doing that- right or wrong, you're giving the rest of us a bad name. Mike
I hope you're joking. My mother has Parkinson's Plus (google it) and every step she takes is painful, time consuming, and requires at least one person to help her. I'll control my anger here and the names I would love to call you, but I am certain it would result it a pretty hefty ban.
You suck. And it's worse you are local. Thank you SO much for representing the car enthusiasts around here and helping our public perception.
Calm down, clearly the op did not understand the implications of what he did. Believe me there are a ton of worse things to ***** about if you live in California.
Just park far - and don't use 2 spots. There are way too many idiots waiting for an opportunity to vandalize .. key .. park in the spot next to you OR better yet .. take pics and upload globally - keeping the "Ferrari Owners" are d-bags myth alive .. It's just a car - **** happens .. it's fixable
