I'm just curious and would like to help future owners. The 4 questions I would like to know are as follows:

How long have you owned your F430 and how many miles when you bought it ?

How many miles do you drive per year?

What have you had to repair and at what cost?

Total cost of the vehicle with your repairs?

    3. Hydro hoses for f1 2 months into ownership $2000
    4. 105k includes vehicle, complete service/filters/plugs, seat redye, sticky part fix and hoses.
Have one more issue that was known when I purchased which is the right hand top bow cable replacement..common issue .. Soon. Great car, I'm very happy to own it.

6 months ... Bought it at 4200 miles.

I have driven appx 1500 miles in the last 6 months BUT mind you, it was during winter time. I will probably end up putting 4k miles per year.

Annual Service ($900) + Cracked Exhaust Brackets (both sides) ($700)

    2. Driven 4500 miles in 13 months.
    3. Water pump , throw out bearings , exhaust bracket , various gaskets , sensor kit , and an annual service. 14,127.84.
    4. 148k plus the repair bill. You can do the math because I don't want to. Lol

Last month I traded it for a 458 spider WITH an extended warrantee.

Oh man that's exactly what I'm afraid off. Almost pulled the trigger on a coupe with 5k miles and the service records were clean - too clean! I can easily rack up 5-10k miles per year with my sports cars and I'm worried that once these cars are actually being driven for real, all the kinks surface. I'm now thinking to go for a higher mileage well maintained car at lower price point or double up and go the 458 route.

I agree with a little more miles but my point here is there are less costs involved for the most part than people are scared of. These cars are solid!

Had a few hiccups... That 14k was from dealer correct? I think it's important to have a trusted independent shop!!

But now you have a warranty so you are good!! Lol

So assuming all things being equal - would you buy a 430 coupe (let's say an 07) with 5k miles for $130k or with 15k miles for $115k?

i would buy the one that generated a cleaner pre-pirchase inspection result. If you do not want to do the PPI twice...start with the car that has the nicer color and option combo.
The price/miles ration is not that relevant, unless you are looking at an F-car with more than 50K miles.
