Hello guys, I was looking around the web and i saw this 430 Scuderia which will be offered for sale on 23 May 2015 in Towcester by Silverstone Auctions. The car is painted in the incredible Grigio Medio and the interior is all red (not my taste) alcantara/leather. The Carbon Fiber side panels look amazing on a Scud.. and it was a $15K option. Usually only see them on the 16M. I love this car!! Downside? No Stripes and the red interior.
Love Grigio Medio. Reminds me of the classic cars from the '50s. Actually tried to buy a GM scud before I got my Grigio Silverstone but it was bought out from under me.
am i the only guy who thinks the carbon rocker panels look "tacked" on for the Scuderia / 16M. i personally would rather not have them. peculiarly i think those rockers flow quite nicely on the 458 or 599 GTO.
Probably. I think they really make the Scud/16M more aggressive looking. I've had this discussion with a few others also at Ferrari meets, and I haven't met anyone that doesn't like them. I'm sure there are those that don't, I just haven't run into anyone yet personally. And it is factory installed option and an official Ferrari part. (I have met a few that didn't know that).
Are you saying non-cf rocker scuds like mine are not aggressive looking? https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xaf1/t51.2885-15/e15/11273011_1623970001150627_1456755404_n.jpg I think it flows better on the 16M because of the soft top, but on a coupe I think it just ruins the lines and cheapens the look of the car. I'm content w the level of aggression of my car, Novitec lowered on 20x12 rear tires and an insane F1 soundtrack (also not oem) is all the aggression I need
oooo, I like that hit of red next to the F1 console buttons, might just have to steal that idea OP should get this car, the red looks spectacular (maybe go w red brakes instead?) and the san stripe gives you the flexibility to change out your livery whenever you get bored! Might not be great for resale but it's great for owner enjoyment! And if you ask me that's way more valuable!
