So I buy a 02 360 spider crashed from ferrparts.com that they had listed on ebay for $38k said in the ad it had salvage title when I get the car their was no title? So I called them and they said they don't have one just a bill of sale? That they will try and get me one .
My question is now what and does anyone know this car

Welcome to the forum. Seriously, what were you thinking when you bought this car?

Sorry to say but you are in for a long upward battle with just about everything you need to do to get this car road worthy again.
Parts alone for this car are very expensive. Front fender alone is over 5k.
depending on the state you live in, the docs to get this titled and registers will also be a nightmare. Dont want to rain on your parade just stating the truth.

Pretty sure the "seller" in this case was the clear winner.... dude that owned the car? Insurance took care of him just fine. They sold it off for a loss but that's what they do. Auction seller? Got his price... made a terrific profit....

    BUYER????

Oh my.... does he have some fun bills very soon in his future.... :(

This cannot possibly end well on the financial side of things - but as I said, will be a fun thread to follow if it continues

Provided no major Flood or Electrical damage, U should be fine.
In CA, Dmv will provide U a new title after the vehicle passed smog and is inspected by CHP.

Part the car out and get your money back, hopefully.
But hey if the chassis and suspension are good it might not be that bad, if you fix it yourself. So long as you can get it legal for the road.

Way to commit soldier! I think if you take your time and search around the parts can be had for less than crazy prices. I think I have seen that fender for about 1300 used and bumpers can be had for less. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of the process and then with the completed car!

Is the A pillar straight? How is the frame? Firewall? Rocker?

BUT being positive - it doesn't look that bad .. get the bumper, fender - get it in a running shape - You can get the title (rebuilt) .. ENJOY :)

Just make sure the roof opens and closes OK and the doors open and close easy and have not dropped if that is the case you should have an easy enough fix.

"Why not buy it..." I won't, I am not a mechanic or a DIYer. The headache is not worth it. So you'd buy it, huh?

I sure do hope it's an easy fix for the OP's sake.

For the kind of cars he owns (which he listed), would it have made more sense if he spent an extra 15 or 20k to get a decent car? (not mocking, just asking, really...)

Everything is fixable...maybe buy another one wrecked in the back and combine the two? You'll have all the parts you need and then part out the rest of the second car eh? Welcome to the 360 spider club! Cheers!
