Hi, I am going to order a new S-line exhaust for my 08 Scud. I am considering going with either polished or unpolished. Does anyone have any photos of older S-line systems of either polished or unpolished? There is a slight concern about the polished holding up as well as the unpolished (polishing removes some of the weld material). I know they turn bluish purple with time but I would like to know how they hold up over time. Any other opinions would be appreciated. Thanks for your input!
BTW, the product is now being made by a partner (Teague Oliver) of the original S-line company. PM me for details if interested as the old phone # does not work anymore.

Teague was the original manufacturer. He's the only one who made S-Line exhausts to being with. Also, the exhausts are only available in one finish now so you don't have to worry about which to go with.

He can have them polished. He also said that he could make them out of different grades of stainless.

A few weeks ago he said he was only offering them in one finish.

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure there will not be a polished offering due to strength concerns.

I got mine from Teaque a few months ago unpolished and I am fine with it.

Can you post some pics or pm me some pics so I can see how it has held up? Thanks.

Thanks for the pics. If you had it to do over again, would you do polished?

I think if I buy this exhaust I would have it powder coated flat black

Ordered mine in non-pooished and can't wait!!! The car with stock exhaust is great and am looking forward to the symphony that awaits.

Quick question for RonnieRenaldi, Sherpa23 or anyone who knows Teague, in recent email correspondence with Teague I noticed his signature as "Teague Weldon Oliver". I'm guessing Teague Weldon is a play on words for TIG welding? Not that it matters, but just seemed to coincidental.

It is his actual name. He was born to be a master welder.

Mine is coated black...I'll get pics when I can.
I had an early model with slight figment issues. But the sound is epic!

I ordered one in polished through the group buy. I'm skeptical polishing could have any real effect on weld integrity and if it discolors I'll just polish it again.

Will let people know how it holds up. The one apparent drawback of polishing is it adds several weeks to the build time.

I am thinking of changing it to polished as it looks really cool. But you are right, it does add 2-3 weeks.
