Kurt, I agree 100% with you.

The world in general seems to follow the "more expensive, flasher and faster is better" philosophy which I totally disagree with.

Nothing wrong with not being a sheep and marching to the beat of a different drum.

Al and Dave, what shades of blue are your 400s?

P.s. mines currently blue medio but will need respray one day and I keep thinking blue chiara which is a little lighter

I think Kurt has hit upon the essence of the 365/400/412 value issue.
These cars are timeless works of art. Neanwhile the 599 looks to me like an old Porsche that has attended way to many Ocktoberfests.
Whether the Arizona Auction Attendee set ever wakes up to this difference is blowin' in the wind.

Looks like you guys with the 5 speeds enjoy the track. I guess those of us with automatics are more subdued. Last from me, she is officially for my sons enjoyment now. Next photos will probably be from him as he is taking it to Cars on Fifth later this month in Naples.
