I saw that also- interesting car. I think it is at $14k now with only 20 hours left. Could be a fun find.

Sold for $15,500... geez you really can't go wrong at that price. Then again- Tires, Bushings, ALL hoses and fuel lines, Fuel lines in trunk, injector and fuel distributors, replace interior carpet and repair leather- if possible... you're looking at a $30K-ish car no matter how you slice it... Replace the leather and you're close to $50K... Good luck figuring out the convertible mechanism- If they could have put the top all the way down for the photos they would have.

Still- from the photos it does appear to be an actual Straman conversion.

Just curious as to what are the signs that Straman actually did the conversion?

Whoops my bad- ended at over $27K... Pretty strong for a car with what appears to be many needs. I can imagine hitting Brett's "$60K" number very fast with this car.

    John-

The photos I have of Stramans seem to match the shape of this top exactly- other than that I have no info- But the other popular one- the Autowest conversion looks totally different.

My guess it is a Straman. The give away is the rather large and unsightly rear quarter of the top. For some reason the rear quarter is to large for the total design. If you look at other "cuts" they have smaller more asthetticly designed quarters. The overall look is neater and more pleasing.

This and $1.00 won't buy you a cup of coffee at Mcdonalds but it is my opinion and as an owner of a Cabriolet with the smaller quarters I'm a gosh darn self styled hot damn expert!!!!!!!!!!

Looks way better than a parts car- But as with every single "Storage" Ferrari i have inspected- I think to make this car really "right" will take tens of thousands of dollars.
