When I go over a ridge or bump in the road I am getting excessive play in the steering. Left and right hand bushes have been replaced and the ZF steering box adjusted so that there is no play in the middle of the stroke. Has anyone got any ideas ? Could it be that the TRXs are too old? Jerry
What are the Tie rod ends (28 /32), relay rod ball joints (33) like ?. You can also get play in the steering relay (1) and steering shaft U joint. I would suspect the shocks before the tyres - you could always try swapping f & r tyres to see if that changes anything. M Image Unavailable, Please Login
In the above diagram I think #33 is the expensive part. Is there anyway to rebuild/replace just the joints?
Ferrari UK offer it on an exchange basis $$$$$ There was a guy in Australia - Sydney who would modify it and fit standard ball joints- unfortunately he passed away in 2012. M
