Not hard to findm but potentially pricey.

    Original size is 215 / 70 VR 15
You can get correct V rated Michelins from Longstone Tyres in the UK ( sponsor of Fchat) or something else here:

What size is on there now? I have Pirelli P4000 in size 215 70 R15 which are speed rated but are no longer being made. There are other speed rated tires available but they are a slightly different size, sorry but don't remember all of the details. I'm thinking of getting these tires in 225 70 R15 and mounting the raised white letters facing in, I have done this on another car I have and have used these tires for the last 3 sets of tires I have put on it (car has 205000 miles) and am quite happy with their performance.

Good luck, you can always call tire rack, I've always had good luck with them.

    Hello,

Vredestein (Home - Vredestein) has a series of 215/70 for 15" rims, one of them is called "Sprint Classic", speed rated "W" (up to 270km/h), cheaper than Michelin in Europe.

255 might be too wide for a 7.5" rim.

I've got BFG 225/60/15s and they work outstandingly well. They're only 1 inch shorter, so that works out to only 1/2 inch lower an the tracking and handling is much superior. Less sidewall sway. Jq.

Sorry but i don't think tires should be bought just on price. Can i encourage you to buy the tyres that will make your car handle and look the way they should. 215 / 70 VR 15 Michelin XWX

The pickings in 15" are getting slim, not many decent ones. BFG makes a 245/60 x 15" which is only 6mm shorter than the originally fitted XWX.

Just in passing...I have been running BFG 225/60/15s on my 1980 and love them. However, when purchasing new tires, I originally had preferred to get 245's like I had seen on a 400 in L.A. years back. Upon finally fitting the 225s,
I found that (on my car, at least), that the 225's fit the wheel wells perfectly, but left only 1/2"-3/4" clearance between the sidewall and the inner edge of the wheel well, leaving me totally relieved that I had not gone for anything wider. And they look just as "cool", if not better that the wider tire. I love my BFGs, and would also consider the Vrendesteins that I have fitted on my 'Vette. I love them way more than the previous Pirellis. I hope that this is of some help to someone. Thank you. Jq.

    Mitch,
You need a "track day". Then you won't get so aggressive with the blinking weeds! Aren't there any road course outings put on by Ferrari Clubs in US?

But I am too old. Did my last track event in 05 at tie FCA Indy. Meet. 165 in the turns (550) was more than I needed. 20 min. Session was enough. I went home. Interstate with no one on the road is stressful enough at 125.
