I noticed this original looking (but restored) early 365 GT4 2+2 for sale at the moment.

Interesting history and interesting price (I was told £69,995), though that is not too crazy when you look at the price of similar LHD cars advertised in Europe.

Love it. Interesting that my insurance is up for renewal and I was only having the discussion today over the value of my car. Does anybody have a register of why the latest RHD 365s have sold for in the UK and their various conditions?

There haven't been many of these cars sold in the last 12 months. #18815 sold at auction in February for £40,825, which significantly exceeded estimate. It was in good condition. As a comparison, it sold for a mere £8,280 at auction back in 2006 and didn't look to be in too bad shape back then. At the other end of the scale, #19603 was only in fair condition when sold at auction a year ago for £11,660.

I have seen cars advertised from around £25,000 for good, clean running cars, to some £45,000 for those in very good, if not exceptional condition, over the last year. I would say that prices seem to have hardened over the last few months. Also one needs to bear in mind that the supply is limited; I would guess there are only about 30 of these cars left in the UK, but it's only a guess.

Yes, I'd rather have that Simon Furlonger car...

Furlonger car is not that good I've looked at it and it's had a colour change. None of the important under the bonnet stuff has been done.
A LHD car sold in the Coys Athens sale recently for 85000 Euros. As far as I can find out not even a handful of RHD original UK 365 GT4 2+2 left.

If I may, I'd like to differ with the above opinion. I know this car very well, as Phil at Rosneath used to look after it, and I have seen it a few times. What is ' the important underbonnet stuff ' that has been missed, I wonder? Phil was one good engineer and very passionate about 365, and so , by the way, was the previous owner, whom I also personally know. It's a decent car, not concours, but very well sorted. Nuff said.
