    Good press, yes. But the Bosch K-Jetronic continuous injection system is mechanical, not electronic. The TH400 is heavy? Compared to what? The car itself is excessively heavy; 50-100 lbs extra weight from the trans selection is insignificant. If I was going to criticize the trans, I would focus on the choice not to use a 4-spd GM unit, which were available in '83 Chevys costing 1/20th as much as a 400i. That choice, in combination with a 3.4:1 differential, resulted in anything *but* excellence "on the type of highway excursion this coupe was designed for."
