Could someone tell me what the exact contents of the toolkit/toolroll should be, please ?

I think I have most of it, but no idea if anything is missing....Thanks

Please note that the Oil Filter Spanner (part 100521) is missing from that list somehow. This spanner is mentioned in the 1982 400i owner manual (250/82).

Thanks for the info.......especially the photo.... always better than a line drawing. I now have a Factory Parts book, so now that helps too.
    Regards to all.

No that is a series 2 tool kit. The OP has a series 1 car.

And to make matters worse I've seen series one cars with a tool roll.
    Go figure!

I have an almost complete tool kit for my -78 400GT. Only thing missing is the spark plug tool. It would be fantastic to make this kit complete as the case is in very good condition and a very valuable addition to the car.

I've seen this tool on ebay from time to time but prices are insane. Anyone know of an aftermarket tool that fits ?
