412 manual for auction in UK

Ordered new by the CEO of a lipstick manufacturer? There are quite a few 412s with red interiors but I've never seen one with a red dash and carpets as well. The non-original Nardi wheel is from an early 80s 400i or 308 GTSi so perhaps it originally had a red one?!

There are no more than 15 RHD 5-speeds in the UK at the moment so it's definitely a rarity.

 

This wheel has been already seen on other 5-speed 412, no ?
Especially on cars driven at their time by Bealey, no ?

Shaun Bealey had a wood rimmed wheel in his 365 GT4 2+2 and 412s, which in the 412s was a Nardi. I am not sure about his other 400s. The steering wheel in the silver 412 is definitely the same as from a 1980-1982 308 GTSi and also the same as in the 400i that Nick Kerrigan owned - though I don't know of any other 400i's with that same steering wheel. There is no Shaun Bealey connection to the silver 412 in question.

 

Two 412 low mileage autos both with a sticker price of £30k have recently been sold, and a manual with moderate mileage sold with a £35k asking price - so I also expect the silver car to be for sale at a dealer for £35k after the auction (following some detailing of the engine bay!).

 

I'm biased, but I think someone got a bargain, a proper front engine V12 manual Ferrari with a recent engine overhaul and new tires for GT4 money.

Absolutely.
I suspect one day people will wake up and find that all the good ones have been snapped up and then the scramble will be on (and you'll be fine !)

With so few made, and even fewer RHD examples and of those only a few in good condition it won't take much to shift the market.

I've seen how quickly that can happen with my 308 GTB Vetroresina Dry Sump where prices have nearly tripled in the past 12 months.
