    Hi,

    I have been trying to order new or find used a dipstick and the associated tube and assorted parts mounting parts for said. It is for a 400i. It should be the same as for a 412. Do you know of anybody sitting on new or used parts out there, please? Best regards, Bo in Minneapolis.

    This is the first time I've seen one of these new, pricey little devils :eek:

    The old #100306 (400i) supercedes to #121256. Eurospares shows that it's in stock (for less than the eBay one) but they don't maintain their site stock-wise. Maybe they might have some used ones from cars they've broken earlier. E-mail them or give them a call.

    thanks. Unfortunately, I need the tube and fittings for it, too. Those are the pesky bits. I tried them but no cigar. Regards, Bo

    Don't let the name put you off; he has at least four 400's in various states of part out. I never asked for motor parts but he is sure to have at least one bad motor.
