I'm now starting on the restoration of the wheels off the 365 GT4 2+2.

Can anyone advise the best way to remove the chrome disc on the wheels?

Also, what is the best way to clean and prepare the wheels ready for a repaint?
    Any tips gratefully received.

Unbolt the splined hub and it should come right off.

The nuts are under the chrome trim.
Start with a bundle of icecream sticks
Get one under the outside of the trim about 6 places around
Then gently lever up till you get 2 then 3 and so on
It helps to tap/vibrate the wheel center to encourage the trim up.
You will cup them this way which will require pressing back to flat
OR just buy a new set -- not that expensive and reasonably available -- Rutlands / GT parts etc
