9th year at the Ferrari Festival charity event in Houston today. I'm still amazed at how many people are fascinated by the 400i. We won the crystal prancing horse humanitarian award for our support of this event over the years. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well done Dave. Beautiful car shimmering in the rain. BTW, I am also amazed at how many random people approach me about the 400. It's like a Ferrari is a Ferrari is a Ferrari, but wow, this one is so different and interesting I must ask the owner something. Happens every time I take it out.
If every guy who owned a 365/400/412 would take it to a car show they'd be amazed at the response and view their cars differently.
By the way... ALWAYS take a hot lookin' woman with you when you go to a car show; that's how you win awards
Dave et al We did about a 1000 mile road trip to Northern VA wine country. We took the dog who loves curling up in one of the rear seats and head on that oh so soft center cushion. We got lots of looks and comments from the locals, most had no knowledge of 400's. One got a look at engine bay as I was trying to get the passenger side heater valve to open! First Q from most is 'what year is it?' Got lots of 'NICE'. One young Hispanic man commented when I opened the trunk, 'Oh, the engine is not int the back'. Okay, I was not at a car show! Other than the heater valve not opening on 2 of the 3 days, she ran like a top! Ken
