    Not a fan of the huge convertible top cover. I wonder who did the conversion?

    The idling at 1,800 rpm needs attention.

    PS: Note "mileage" of 74,829 is really in kilometers.

    Is Joseph Randazzo Tony's father or something? Tony always lists several Ferrari parts on eBay, including for 400 series cars. My DOT plaque actually lists when it was imported, something I'm not seeing on this one, or at least on the pics provided.

    All the 4xx cars were imported through a variety of gray markets over a varied period of time. I suspect the standards were far from from regular as the cars I have personally inspected all are different. I have seen cars with state assigned VIN plates and no dates, nothing at all except the original factory plate, and then lots of stickers and plates like above.

    Hervé, a friend bought the 400. We are in search of its history. Including the name of the body builder who made the convertible conversion. This car is in France now.
